Bostonia’s client, Absaroka Energy, a Bozeman, Montana-based renewable energy developer, closed on the first round of equity capital to continue the development of the Gordon Butte project, a 400MW closed-loop pumped storage hydro project in Montana.  The investment was made by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, a fund manager headquartered in Denmark with over EUR 6.8 billion under management and positions Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners as the long-term equity sponsor of the project.  Absaroka has been granted a FERC license for the Gordon Butte project and expects to commence construction in 2020.
