Bostonia arranged $14M in permanent financing for two Veterans Affairs (VA) community-based outpatient clinics in Ohio and Indiana. The two VA clinics total approximately 45,000 square feet and are each subject to a long-term lease with the federal government.
The two VA clinics will replace outdated facilities and consolidate many smaller clinics into a single larger facility at each of the locations. In Ohio, the new state-of-the-art facility is 40% larger than the previous CBOC in the area where the VA will be relocating from and will serve nearly 11,000 veterans annually. The larger, more efficient space will allow for use of the VA’s “patient aligned care team” model. This approach allows for patients to receive specialized care via a team consisting of a primary care provider, nurse care manager, clinical associate, and administrative clerk, ensuring care is more personalized and team-based with a focus on wellness and disease prevention.
